Wedding bells will soon be ringing — for the fourth time — for a child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, of “19 Kids and Counting” fame. This time, the bride will be 22-year-old daughter Jinger (pronounced “Ginger” like the spice, and not jinger, rhyming with finger). The unusual “J” initial letter was chosen to conform to the family’s tradition of giving each child a name beginning with “J.”
Jinger’s intended is Jeremy Vuolo. Let’s learn more about Jeremy.
Jeremy Vuolo – Family & Age
Jeremy was born September 5, 1987 (he is currently 28) and he grew up in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. He is the baby of the family, with an older sister and an older brother.
How did Jinger and Jeremy Meet?
The two met in early 2015 through Jinger’s sister Jessa and her husband Ben Seewald, who are friends of Vuolo. They got to know each other better on a mission trip to Central America in December 2015.
Jeremy Vuolo — Job
Jeremy says that he made the decision to become a professional soccer player at age 12. While attending college at Hartwick College and Syracuse, he played soccer for his schools. From 2011-2013, he played soccer professionally, for the New York Red Bulls, the San Antonio Scorpions, and then overseas in Finland. Now, Jeremy is following in his father’s steps — Chuck Vuolo is a pastor. Jeremy is currently serving as pastor at a church plant in Laredo, Texas. Sounds like Jinger may get to realize her dream of living in a big city (at least, bigger than the rural Arkansas area where she has lived so far).
