Green tea — if you’re like me, you’ve heard so much about its health benefits that you’re almost tired of it. You know: green tea provides all-day energy and increased focus. It boosts metabolism (sign me up!). It’s full of antioxidants, which slow aging and is great for your skin.
So when I had the opportunity to try Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder, I was excited at the chance.
One problem: I don’t like tea. I’m sorry, but it just tastes like dirty water to me. So, I was happy that there was a recipe booklet in pdf form with idea for using green tea powder in cooking and baking. Last week, I made Pan Fried Matcha Chicken. It used the green tea powder in breading for the chicken. And yeah, I have to say that it was a little odd to eat chicken with green-tinged breading, but hey. It tasted good!
I can’t say I noticed an energy spike, and alas I’ve lost no weight (yet!), but with health it’s all baby steps, right? I recommend this green tea powder if you’d like to try it as a healthy step in your life.
