Meantime, I am still pretty tired of all things food-related. But here’s what the week is looking like:
Monday: leftover buffet. When I was busy over the weekend, I told everyone to eat leftovers. However, I’ve learned that this doesn’t actually happen unless I get the containers out, display them in an organized way, and begin heating them. So …
Tuesday: Chili cheese tater tot casserole — new recipe. We have another tater tot casserole recipe that everyone loves, so I figure this one is a good bet.
Wednesday: Poppyseed chicken — requested by the kids.
Thursday: Pizza Bread — I’ve made this before, although it’s been a while.
Friday: Wendy’s chili
Saturday: I am hosting 20+ flute players from the band for breakfast here at 7 a.m. Normally this would seem like a big task, but after last weekend’s senior dinner, I haven’t stressed at all. Here’s the menu:
Grands biscuits with homemade strawberry jam
Bacon (I never cook or eat bacon. Yet it is a band breakfast tradition)
Chocolate milk, regular milk, apple cider, hot chocolate maybe
