Shopcade: Making line shopping fun and personalized
Have you heard of Shopcade?
If not, scroll down to the next-to-last item on my right sidebar, and you’ll see the Shopcade “widget” (never mind about what a widget is; that’s blogspeak). Shopcade shows you goodies to shop for, based on my blog topics. How fun is that?
If you’re a blogger, you may want to install a Shopcade widget on your own blog. Why? You can earn a commission when readers buy items through your site. The items showing up on your widget are personalized to your readers based on topics you write about on your blog.
For readers, Shopcade is great as well. That’s because it shows great online finds that you’re likely to enjoy, based on the fact that you’re reading this blog. And you can support your favorite bloggers by clicking on the items through their site. Best of all? This support costs you nothing! It’s all paid by the merchants. That sounds like a win-win to me.
Still not sure what Shopcade is all about? Scroll down, click on the Shopcade label — it’s the long one on the right, near the bottom. Explore a world of shopping from the comfort of your chair!
