L’Oréal Paris Magic BB Cream: a review
As part of SheSpeaks, I was able to review L’oreal Studio Secrets Magic BB Cream. You’re wondering what BB Cream is? Me too.
Apparently, the BB stands for Beautifying Beads.
Okay, so is L’Oréal Paris Magic BB Cream a moisturizer? Foundation? Concealer?
Yes.
It’s supposed to do all that: give the sheer coverage needed to create a natural bare skin finish, deliver built-in skincare benefits, prime and smooth, hide flaws, hydrate all-day, and correct and even skin.
That’s a lot to put on one cream. Did it deliver?
Well, kind of. I used the cream each morning, in place of a moisturizer. While it moisturized a bit, I usually ended up adding a bit more of another moisturizer.
If I were spending the day at home, I let the BB Cream suffice for foundation. But if I were going out, I added another foundation. It was very light, and honestly I didn’t look or feel like I was wearing foundation with it alone.
Did it conceal flaws and correct my skin? Honestly, I didn’t notice any difference in this regard.
To me, this cream feels like in trying to do everything, it didn’t do a lot of anything. You know the old saying — jack of all trades, master of none? That sums it up.
If you’re in your 20s, this might be an amazing, all-in-one product. For someone a bit more — ahem — mature, it’s another weapon in your anti-aging arsenal. Try it, and see what you think.
I received a complimentary product from SheSpeaks/L’Oréal to facilitate this review

I ate with a lady Sunday evening. Her makeup looked so well applied. I said to her, “Your makeup looks so nice. Do you use Mary Kay?”
She said, ” I put this on at 7 this morning and it is Maybelline.” She added she used to wear Mary Kay. I was impressed.
amen to the age thing!! getting ready to post my review too
Guess I’m not convinced to try it.
