You might think January would be a slow month, but it’s not — at least, not here. I have my typical 14 piano students, and my list of kids to accompany for ISSMA music solo contest is growing by the day. Trying to fit all those practices in the after-school hours makes menu planning a challenge, but I shall rise to it. Here’s this week’s Menu Plan Monday:
Monday: leftover buffet — because the refrigerator is filling up.
Tuesday: Chicken Cordon Bleu — these are bought frozen at Meijer — probably a frozen veggie as well
Wednesday: Calico Beans — we have one family member who I think would live on beans if possible.
Thursday: Foil Packet Taco Chicken — the girls love these, and they are a great meal. Each person’s packet can be personalized according to what he/she likes.
Friday: Chicken Noodle Soup with bread from the bread machine. This is perfect soup weather.

I hope your dinners will be a happy family time, together!
Your meals all sound good and pretty quick and easy to prepare! Love those Calico beans because I am a big bean lover, too! When I was a teacher with busy teenagers at home years ago, we almost always had a Thursday night buffet of the week’s leftovers before doing grocery shopping for the next week.
Sometimes the buffet was almost better than the other meals, especially when you have some tasty items that taste even better warmed up. Have a good week!
Love your chicken cordon blue idea. I need to make that!
