Menu Plan Monday

menuplanmondayMenu Plan Monday time!

Crazy week coming up here: all the 4-H projects need to come together to be turned in next Tuesday by 9 a.m. Wish us luck!

We visited relatives this weekend and I got some new recipes thanks to my sister-in-law. Thanks!

Monday: Crockpot Sweet and Sour Chicken – new.

Tuesday: Hmmm … something easy. Maybe pierogies or taco night??

Wednesday: 4th of July – the neighbors invited us over. Yay! My youngest daughter will make That Chocolate Cake to share (and to practice for 4-H).

Thursday: Chicken Crescents – another recipe from my sister-in-law; this is close to her recipe. I’m trying to eliminate Pillsbury roll products from our menus due to the trans fats they all seem to contain; I found this recipe for homemade crescent rolls that looks good.

Friday: Zesty Chicken Tortilla Bake – I’ve made this before and it’s good.

Happy eating and cooking!

  1. You could allow Sophie to back something for me and deliver it to me! I’d love that.

  2. Chicken Crescents sound delicious! I’ve heard of your blog throughout the blogosphere (I remember it because I love the name!) but have never actually visited until today – totally taking a few minutes to look around!

  3. I have just made up Fleischmann’s 1 Dish Taco Bake for lunch. It’s a recipe I pulled out of a magazine, heaven knows how long ago and this is my first time to try it. I’ll also make slaw, using garden cabbage, to go with it. It’s 8:13 a.m. and I’m already looking forward to lunch!
