King Street Blues in Arlington, Virginia

I recently returned from a bus trip to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. I went with my youngest daughter. Four years ago, I took the same trip with my oldest daughter. Two years ago, I went with my middle daughter.

I enjoy travel, so I didn’t mind taking essentially the same trip three times. But, it’s fun when each trip included one or two new things. This year, one new thing was dinner at King Street Blues in Arlington, Virginia.

It was really a cute place! The decor was fun and whimsical.

King Street Blues restaurant, Arlington VirginiaOur group had the whole (smallish) third floor to ourselves. Our food had been pre-ordered, and it arrived quickly. It was yummy home-style cooking: red beans and rice. Homemade cornbread. That kind of stuff. At our table, everyone had ordered something different, and each thing looked good.

We all enjoyed our food and the atmosphere. If you’re in the vicinity, I recommend a visit!
