We’re entering into the dreary part of winter, and yet (here at least) it’s not bad at all. This past week saw temperatures reaching the 50s. My kids and I didn’t even wear coats yesterday. I love it! But, even with January temperatures more like April, warm comfort foods still hit the spot. Here’s our plans for the week:
Monday:Chicken Milanese – got it in a Betty Crocker email; doesn’t it look yummy? I’ll probably make mine with noodles as well, since I don’t think it will be hearty enough for us as pictured.
Tuesday: Bubble Pizza – a bag of meatballs, a can of breadsticks – that’s enough fat to keep us warm all night.
Wednesday: Duggars’ Taco Soup – I’m a fan of the “19 Kids and Counting” show, so why not their soup? No doubt I’ll make less, since this recipe feeds 30.
Thursday: Cheeseburger Buns – a favorite around here.
Friday: Slow Cooker Cheesy Potato Soup – I’ll try this recipe, also from a recent Betty Crocker email. I’ll make French bread in the bread machine too.
What’s cooking at your place this week?
