Christmas week – I can’t believe it! I remember as a child, sitting at my Mamaw and Papaw’s at Christmas discussing how we couldn’t believe Christmas Day had actually arrived. Comforting to know that some things never change …
We will be home each weekday this week and will get to spend Christmas Day at home (something I’ve wanted to do for years), so the menu plan is still a normal one.
Tuesday: French’s Crunchy Onion Chicken – Everyone loves chicken strips. These are easy to make.
Wednesday: Mile High Salsa Pie
Thursday: Chicken Stir Fry – I just cut up a chicken breast in the wok and add veggies and alfalfa sprouts with soy sauce, and serve with rice.
Friday: Christmas – the family voted for TACOS! So we will have a make-your-own taco bar on Friday.
I also think I’ll try these cinnamon buns for breakfast.
Each of the girls gets to choose something fun to make or do this week. One request was to make Jiffy Fruit Salad from my daughter’s friend Hannah’s blog. It looks delicious!
