Easter Goodies

Today, I’m sharing some Easter goodies (sorry, not the edible kind).  I got out the Easter stuff last weekend, and the girls and I had a lot of fun decorating.

Easter basket of eggsHere is a basket full of neat things.  I got the flocked bunny when I was 8, from a lady who used to live in the upstairs of the building we lived downstairs from (I think I’ll introduce you to her in Childhood Memories Friday sometime).  The fabric eggs were made by my mom last Easter.  I got one, and each of the girls did too.  They are really cute!

The other two eggs are also from my childhood, as is the little hopping chick to the right.  I love chicky, although he barely hops anymore.  The girls love him, too.  He just looks so cute and “old” (in a good way!).

  1. Those are adorable. I enjoy handmade items too. They’re so much ‘warmer’ than store bought, I’ve always thought. Have a great day! :o) ♥ ∞

  2. Love the bunny!; sooooo cool that your mom made those fabric eggs for y’all. Great idea.

    Thanks for joining TIMHT!

  3. Cute! I haven’t even thought about the Easter decorations! I feel behind now! 🙂 Don’t you just love the old stuff!?
