This week for Things in My House Thursday, I am sharing with you my little Christmas Tree:
I made it in first grade, and it’s one of my oldest hand-made things. It’s made of a pinecone set into an aerosol lid filled with plaster. The gold macaroni adorning the base are falling off, and the paper star at the top is showing its age, but each year the little tree sits in the hutch next to the little wooden church, and I remember sitting in Miss Wilson’s class, younger than all my girls are now.
Miss Wilson is now gone, but the littlest Christmas tree still comes out each season. It represents memories that make Christmas so special.
